Acupuncture – Traditional Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture is one part of a whole spectrum of treatments known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Acupuncture is carried out by inserting a few fine needles into points on the body. These points are located and linked on channels, along which energy or ‘Qi’ flows. Qi underlies the balanced functioning of the body and if it becomes blocked or deficient, we become unhealthy. The points which are chosen by your practitioner are carefully selected in relation to the disharmony of which you are presenting with.
